Some updates on the nerdy kitty tree.

Sherlock’s sofa, which will have the smiley and bullet holes put above it

Sherlock’s fireplace, which will have a fuzzy skull to bat around

Jeffries Tube, which will have a ‘transporter bay’ of glittery strips to bat around

TARDIS on the bottom, with the door ‘open’ and ‘closed’.  All four sides have openings like that — Frank likes escape routes.

I need a Garrus & Femshep to put on the ‘Top of the Citadel’ — maybe I’ll just make crocheted puppety versions of them?

Also yet to do: Titans Tower for the left, and Stark Tower for the right.

Finished making a Pai Sho Game complete for 2 players as seen in the animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender.

LARP costume for medieval/fantasy LARP in original universe.  Commander Nicola Magnus Sanuto, at your service, in her finest.

Cape borrowed from Christie, shirt from the costume closet, vest made (freehand, no pattern) this week, pants from my regular wardrobe.  Boots and fur legwarmers not pictured.  Necklace by jadelyn. yarr, motherfuckers.

Just rebloggin’ this when it’s not 4AM.  I’m proud of the vest, and Jadelyn’s necklace is so gorgeous it deserves another outing.

Figured out how to use our laser cutter to make custom wax seals/stamps.

Cut the bases out of acrylic, using two passes at half speed on our Epilog laser cutter — first pass engraving only, second pass engraving and cutting the circles.  I used the stamp settings with the shoulders at default.

The handles are wooden ‘game pieces’ that I got from Michael’s.

Not bad for last-minute and $2/each, eh?
